Now that everything is back together, I am having two issues. First, the lathe slips out of back gear under moderate loads. The old number for it is LA119-1, "cone pinion gear with 0793 Oilless bearing" However, since it does have the bearing in it, that suggests that you will have to press that out before brazing it up, or the bearing will at least get carboned up.
