WebDyson v15 canister jammed/stuck. I removed the canister to clean it and I when I placed it back on it’s now jammed shut. The red lever won’t push down to release. I’m still under warranty so I am going to call in about a replacement. But I am wondering if anyone knows any tricks about how to fix it? WebOct 11, 2024 · Hi Alw, The vacuum is likely shutting off because the safety switch is being activated. This can happen when suction is lost or something is preventing the beater bar from rolling. I would suggest flipping the vacuum over and removing the big plastic screws. Clean the beater bar (the cylinder with bristles) and try to see if it fixes the issue.
