Dig a hole 3 to 4 times the diameter and 3 times as deep as the container the sugar apple tree came in. Making a large hole loosens the soil next to the new tree making it easy for the roots to expand into the adjacent soil. WebRambutans are *definitely* not USDA Zone 9b-appropriate plants. They are quite exceedingly tropical in nature. My guess would be that rambutans are adaptable only in the extreme southern portions of Florida, and probably just barely adapted, even there. (If possible to grow at all.)
